Who is Killjoy?

Killjoy is a pop punk band that was formed by two girls with big dreams in January of 2016 in the small city of Saskatoon, sk. They were influenced by bands like Green Day, Blink 182 & Simple Plan. Killjoy features 2 female lead singers with powerful harmonies, along with original songs full of angst, heartache & joy that you can relate to. Killjoy has recently released their first EP, officially on sale October 21/17. It has 4 original songs including :Ex oh, Therapy, Kismet & One by One.

Back in April of 2017 Killjoy had the chance to audition for an event called Taste of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon at Bud's on Broadway. The band made the cut and that event kick started their summer! They went on to preform at multiple outdoor festivals throughout western Canada within the next few months.

The bands songs have been growing in popularity as their latest single One by One has been getting airplay and their song EX Oh has been played internationally- landing on Australia's top 20 countdown on HOTFM.

Killjoy is currently planning tours and concentrating on writing a full album, reaching out to punk music fans across Canada. With their songs growing in popularity, Killjoy has a bright future with many more accomplishments to come.
